These General Conditions of Operation (CGF) are available on the website www.vetorostrenen.fr, or at the clinic reception in paper format on request.
All acts carried out in our care establishment SELARL VETERINAIRE DU KREIZ BREIZH are subject to these T & Cs that the owner or keeper of the animal declares to accept unconditionally.

Usual opening hours and public reception conditions
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
Consultations take place by appointment.
We do not do home consultation for dogs, cats and NACs (new pets). Home visits are for cattle only, horses, small ruminants and pigs.

Services provided within the CARE ESTABLISHMENT

The premises in their design and layout comply with the regulations in force, particularly with regard to reception, storage of medicines and disposal of medical waste.
The clinic is cleaned daily by veterinary care staff to keep the premises clean and disinfected with suitable products.
Services provided at the clinic: general medicine, convenience surgery, soft tissue surgery, abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, radiography, blood tests, phytotherapy.

Drug delivery : in accordance with current veterinary pharmacy legislation.

Sale of hygiene products, accessories, dietetic and physiological foods.

Hospitalized animals
Hospitalized animals are carefully monitored and adapted to their condition. The veterinary team provides care during the day so that their stay takes place in the best conditions. The staff is not present on site 24 hours a day. Outside of opening hours, staff provide regular but not continuous surveillance of hospitalized animals.
You can visit your companion during opening hours if this does not interfere with the operation of the establishment. Visits are not allowed outside of opening hours.
Hospital premises (Kennel, cattery, contagious) meet the requirements of the decree, they have their own water points.

Permanence and continuity of care
We ensure the continuity of care on all the animals that we have treated as well as on the herds of which we have permanent follow-up.
Emergencies are handled by the clinic's veterinarians at night, Sundays and public holidays by phone call.
The regulation of telephone calls is entrusted to the company VETOPHONIE (108 Bld Henri Barbusse 93100 MONTREUIL) which, if needed, will liaise with the on-call veterinarian of our establishment.


Species processed
The species usually treated in the care establishment are as follows: dogs, cats, new pets (ferrets, lagomorphes, rodents), family farmed or ornamental backyard animals, ruminants, horses, pigs.
It may happen that the client needs to be referred to another care facility more able to care for a species or type of animal for which we do not have the expertise, equipment or professional civil liability (RCP) necessary.

Pricing conditions
Our prices for routine procedures are displayed in the waiting room ; full prices can be viewed in the waiting room on request.
A personalized quote, valid 2 month, can be given to you on request.
The total to be paid corresponds to the sum of the medical benefits, surgical, analyzes and drugs and other products delivered. It will give rise to the production of a detailed invoice in accordance with the legislation.

Terms of Payment

A deposit may be requested, in particular when the animal is hospitalized for several days, during long-term care or for on-call consultations.

No discount for animal protection or refuge associations is granted.
A credit may be issued in the event of returns of food not started and purchased for less than a month. Medicines that have not been started cannot be resumed.

Therapeutic risk, anesthetic risk, risk of restraint,
Any medical act and in particular anesthetic presents incompressible risks.
We take all necessary measures to reduce these risks. However, we cannot eliminate all the potentially serious risks associated with therapeutic risks, anesthetics or related to restraint.
The aggressive behavior of an animal sometimes requires the use of restraints that can occasionally result in injury to the animal and or to the nursing staff. Our team will in this case inform the customer of the need to use a special restraint for safety reasons.
The examination of the animal will only be carried out if the client accepts the restraint.
The client declares to have understood and accepted the therapeutic risks and, if applicable, the special conditions of examination under restraint set out above.

Informed consent of the Client Care contract, special conditions
Any medical or surgical intervention that will be subject to special conditions not specified or not mentioned in this document will result in the establishment of a care contract. The latter will provide the customer with the information necessary to obtain their informed consent.

Animal death
For domestic carnivores and NACs (New Pets)
In the event of the animal's death, we can, if the customer wishes and if the legislation allows it, return the body after burial.
We can, in other cases, ensure through the company ESTHIMA, collective or individual cremation of the body. If the customer wishes, he can attend the cremation. He must specify it during the incineration request.
Any incineration request must be in writing and signed by the customer.
The incineration costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Admission of animals covered by the Legislation on dangerous dogs.
First and second category dogs are accepted in our establishment on condition that they are muzzled, kept on a leash and presented by an adult.


Admission of stray animals

Stray animals are the responsibility of the town hall of the town where they were found.
The clinic does not accept to take in these stray animals.
The clinic staff can help you check if the animal is identified but can under no circumstances communicate the owner's contact details to a third party..
