Potentially toxic pet necklaces
The national safety agency ordered, as a precaution, the withdrawal from the market of 76 models of pest control collars.
These collars used for the prevention and treatment of infestations by fleas and ticks could present a health risk, including dermal by prolonged and repeated exposure to the products they contain. children, because of their small size and low weight are more exposed to this risk.
The affected necklaces are necklaces sold especially in garden, animal and in supermarkets which contain one of the following substances :
the Dimpylat, propoxur or tetrachlorvinphos.

These collars lots were withdrawn from sale in the wholesalers and in all outlets. If you have already bought one of these collars for your pet, it is advisable to take it away.
On the other hand, the arrival of hot weather will be accompanied by an increase in ticks and fleas. Do not give especially the prevention against these parasites that can transmit your animals many diseases!
