The animals have not finished to amaze us ! Here are some records among the numerous exploits which are capable our animal friends, exploits against which even the most gifted humans is often pale ! What remain very humble face of our friends the animals...Longevity record The African elephant is the one who has the shortest life expectancy : 50 to 70 years in the wild, (It can reach 100 years in captivity). The blue whale can live up to 110 years. The Japan koi fish is a fish that adorns the basins of Japanese Gardens. It can live very old. His longevity record is 226 years ! The giant tortoise of Seychelles achieved the 250 years ! The winner is the "Arctica islandica" mollusc which reached easily 400 years and whose record was noted in 507 years.
